Panna Cotta with Grand Marnier Soaked Berries

Serves 6

 

3 ½ cups heavy cream

1 cup milk

Juice and zest of one lemon

1 vanilla bean scraped of seeds

1 Tbsp gelatin powder

¼ pint raspberries

¼ pint blackberries

6 strawberries hulled and quartered

1 orange, zested

2 ounces Grand Marnier

1 ounce simple syrup

 

In a saucepan heat cream, lemon zest, lemon juice and vanilla bean seeds until simmering.  Add gelatin powder and mix well.  Turn off heat.  Let steep for 5 minutes then add milk.  Pout into martini glasses and chill at least 4 hours.

 

Mix berries with orange zest, Grand Marnier and simple syrup.  Allow to macerate for 5 minutes.  Garnish Panna Cotta wirh berries.
